Ueda Tatsuya new album "Honey" message

With the album "Honey," I have the feeling that a new door has been opened.

I think it has become more and more common these days for senior members to work together beyond the groups, but "CRYSTAL MOMENT" was recorded with a different group of people than usual, so it felt fresh. I don't get nervous, but the other two were nervous, so there was that feeling.

I was also genuinely moved by the fact that we could simply be involved as a group in the Olympics with a song. The fact that it was the first announcement for the group in the new year also made me feel that we had made a good start for the year.

The rhythm of "Prisoner" was very well done. This time, we have a collection of songs that would be difficult to sing at karaoke, and "Prisoner" is a good example of that.

The concept of the album is different from usual, so there were some detailed directions during the recording. In that sense, "Born Free" is also a difficult song, but I hope you enjoy the lyrics.

My solo song "Cantabile" has a more mature, Western-inspired tone, but I tried to make it sound like something people are used to listening to. Since I am a bit of a twisted person, I dared to go off-topic a bit and put in some J-pop elements in the song.

I mentioned the progression in "tatsugumi" but the lyrics were really tough to write (laughs).
The theme of the song is a different world from my sense of values, and I feel like I'm indulging you... that's the thing. It's not my sense of values, which is known as stoicism, but that's the only thing I did to match the title of the album.

Last year, we held our 15th anniversary concert, which was the culmination of everything we had done up to that point. It was because of that concert that we were able to open a new door with this album "Honey". I hope you will enjoy the live performance of this album.
