  Kamenashi Kazuya: The new single Roar is on sale today. I am grateful that I was allowed to make a new song and hold the 15th anniversary tour this year. We've made the fans wait 3 years for a new single, but I am glad that we have prepared an environment where we can release a single at the beginning of 2021, before the live and the 15th anniversary! Good evening everyone at STV Radio's OTO Marche'.  This is KAT-TUN's Nakamaru Yuichi.  I've received your question: "What is your favourite Hokkaido gourmet food that you would like to eat again someday? Please tell us of memories or episodes if you have any." Yes, I do have a memory. But it was quite a long time ago. It was 10 years ago, or even more, but when I went on a trip to Hokkaido with another member, Ueda-kun, we ate a really good Uni Don (sea urchin & rice). I'll never forget it.  What is it like? It's normal for Hokkaido people to eat seafood, right? But how do you feel when people from the surrounding prefectures and other areas say Hokkaido food is good? It makes me really envious. That's why, when we were only just over twenty, we didn't have experience, we didn't know any places, and smartphones didn't exist at that time, so we didn't have any information. Going to Hokkaido with Ueda, we wondered where we could e...

  The title song 'Roar' is the theme song of the drama starring Kamenashi. When I first listened to the song, I wondered 'is this the world view of the drama?'. My solo 'change your mind', recorded in the limited edition 3, is the theme song of my self-produced stage play 'Nakamaru-kun no Tanoshii Jikan 4' held last autumn. Because originally I didn't like the number 4, I made a stage play centred around that theme of that bad luck number, and this was the song from that time. Its message is something like let's change the way we think about it and be more positive, even if many things go wrong because of the corona virus. I already wrote about the MV for this song on my J-web 'Nakamaru's Page', but basically I dance quite a lot. Originally this song wasn't meant to be included in a single or made into MV, but if I was to make it then let's dance! I was dancing all the time during the shooting.   'Roar' is the first single of the 15th anniversary project. This time the theme is to make it a project that even people who like KAT-TUN just a bit can enjoy. We want for the people who have come to KAT-TUN's lives, solo lives, or who came even for just a bit, to think 'a~ there was such a song' and 'how nostalgic'.  I decided on 'Yankee kata omoi chuu', from my own solo that was not on included on any CD, as a song that can be enjoyed lively with the audience. What I like about this song's MV shooting is the school scene. There are a lots of thugs, but only one is wearing round glasses and has a serious character. When I saw the complete package (the finished work) I noticed 'why is this guy there' (laughs). It's interesting that thugs and serious people coexist in harmony.  'Desire' from limited edition 2 is a slightly sexy song.
